The Yale Safe is an electronic safe with a keypad for opening using a passcode, as well as a small display for displaying information. A large yellow button labeled "Yale" is typically used to confirm or unlock the safe after entering the passcode.
The safe has a warning written on it:
"Please do not store emergency keys inside" (as they are needed in case you forget the code or the battery runs out).
🔐 Open the safe:
Enter your PIN (usually 3 to 8 digits).
Press the Enter button or the yellow Yale button (depending on the model).
If the number is correct, the safe will open.
🔄 Change the password:
Open the safe with the current code.
Look for a small button inside the door (usually red or black).
Click on it and then enter the new code.
Press Enter to confirm.
🗝 If you forget your password:
It can be opened using the Override Key , which is usually hidden behind a small logo or plastic cover next to the number pad.
Caution: The label on the safe reminds you not to store this key inside.
